There's something about a piece that has weight - you feel it settle as soon as it's on. I cut these ridges by hand, one pass at a time; the grooves aren't decorative, they're structural.
The ends are neatly finished so the bracelet sits naturally and securely once worn. The band is 99.99% pure copper, shaped to sit close to the skin the way people have worn it for thousands of years.
Each ridge is formed slowly and deliberately, so the surface gives off a quiet sense of order rather than ornament.
One of the last bracelets I'll make before I close the workshop. I hope it finds the right wrist.
