Some pieces move when you move - and that's exactly the point. I made these for women who want to feel the warmth of something real against their skin every day - each disc hand-cut from a copper sheet, hammer-worked all over, one strike at a time, then linked together so the lower piece can swing freely the way copper should.
People have worn copper close to the skin for thousands of years, and the women who come back to me always say the same thing: something changes that they can't quite name.
These are some of the last earrings I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find the ears that are ready to carry a little warmth with them.
