Some things you simply feel the moment you wear them.
I shaped this piece on my anvil, striking the metal thousands of times until the surface had the deep, dimpled texture of a worn river stone.
It has the kind of weight that asks you to slow down, and people have worn copper against their skin like this for more than three thousand years. For decades I've watched people come back to my workshop, and I've never had to explain why they kept wearing it.
This is one of the last bracelets I'll make before I close my workshop, and I hope it finds the right wrist.
