There's something about the way overlapping strands hold their shape, each on its own yet all together. That's what this piece kept reminding me of while I made it.
I wound six copper wires side by side, faceting each one by hand so they catch the light differently depending on how you turn your wrist, then bound the ends tightly with coiled wire before finishing the caps.
Copper has been worn against the skin for thousands of years, long before anyone thought of bottling a remedy for anything. I didn't invent that. I just did what my hands know.
This is an open cuff, so it fits most wrists with a little adjustment, no clasp, no fuss.
