There's a lightness to this bracelet, as if it's something caught mid-movement, not quite settled. I wanted a piece that feels less like metal and more like breath, as though the copper hadn't yet decided what shape to take.
Every wire here is drawn thin and hand-forged, then woven in and out of the next until they support each other. No solder holds the pattern together, just tension, patience and about a dozen wires finding their place. It took longer than most pieces I make.
People have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years, long before anyone thought to explain why. I've seen the same people come back year after year, never quite able to say what it does, only that they keep reaching for it.
