Some pieces you wear because they feel good - these two you wear because something in you knows they belong there. I made this set for people whose joints and hands keep score of a life well worked - the lattice engraved diamond by diamond across the full band, the floral piece slowly traced alongside it, both finished on the same morning.
Copper has been worn against the skin for thousands of years by people who needed their bodies to stay in the fight, and those who come back for both always say the same thing: they've stopped noticing what they used to notice.
This is one of the last sets I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find the wrists that have earned them.
